Trigger Finger Treatment

Many people will deal with symptoms of having their finger lock in place commonly known as "Trigger Finger".

While the traditional route of treating trigger finger has been to cut soft tissues of the hand to help the tendon slide more easily, more forward-thinking therapies are now available to non-surgically treat trigger finger.

Manipulative therapy, cold laser and other soft tissue mobilization techniques can all be used to help restore the finger to it's normal motion without risking the scarring created with surgery.

According to the Journal of Clinical Neuroscience, carpal tunnel surgery is one of the main causes of trigger finger.  Because of this, many people would prefer to first explore a non-surgical option before undergoing another surgery for their trigger finger.
